If the user has an email associated with their user profile, use the “Forgot Password” link.

If the user does not have an email associated with their user profile, a Hotel User Admin/Hotel Admin can manually reset the password to a temporary password.

🔐 User Type & Roles

To perform this action in ALICE, the user must have at least Hotel User Admin User Type access.

(lightbulb) Things to Consider

  • When a Hotel User Admin/Hotel Admin changes a user’s password on their behalf, the user will be prompted reset the password from the temporary password the next time they log in.

⚙ Steps

  1. Select “Manage Users” from the ALICE Admin menu.

  2. Select the user, then select “Edit User”

  3. Enter a temporary password in the password field. Then, confirm the password.

  4. Select “Update” to save the changes.
