Deactivate Users

To remove access from users who no longer require access to your ALICE account without deleting their user instance, individual users can be deactivated.

User Type & Roles

To perform this action in ALICE, the user must have at least Hotel User Admin User Type access.

Things to Consider

  • Deactivated users will receive an error message for an incorrect password upon every login attempt.

  • Deactivated Users can easily be re-activated using the same steps outlined below. To quickly search for deactivated users, select “Deactivated” from the “Status” filter dropdown.


  1. Select one or more users from the user list.

  2. Select “Manage Status”

  3. Use the “Active” Checkbox - Remove the check to deactivate the user. Then, select “Apply” to save the change.
