Add Section Assignment for Room Attendants

Add preferred sections for Room Attendants. This step is an important prerequisite to adding boards via Auto Assign.

User Type & Roles

To perform this action in ALICE, the user must have at least Hotel Admin User Type access.

For a user to be available in the list of names, the user must first be assigned a Role in which Role Assignment is enabled. The user needs “Rooms” and “My Board” access within Room Assignment Mobile Tabs

Things to Consider

  • It is possible to assign multiple Sections to one Room Attendant. 

  • Housekeeping Sections must be created as Location Groups before they can be added to Room Attendants within Section Assignment.

  • Boards can be created in a single click via Auto Assign when Preferred Housekeeping Sections for Room Attendants are set up.

Steps

  1. Select “Room Attendant” from the ALICE Admin menu.

  2. Select “Section Assignment” to view a table with a list of Room Attendant names and Preferred Housekeeping Section

  3. Select “Edit”

  4. Enter Location Groups that correspond to the Preferred Housekeeping Section per Room Attendant. Click into the field to reveal a dropdown or start typing in the field to search existing Location Groups.

  5. Select “Save”
