Add or Remove Services and Service Options from Portfolio Manager

The Portfolio Manager, located in ALICE Admin on the Property Group level, will give users the power to manage Facilities, Services, and Service Options created on the group level.

The individual Facilities, Services, and Service Options on the group level can be added or removed from specific properties within the group portfolio as needed.

User Type & Roles

To perform this action in ALICE, the user must have at least Hotel Admin User Type access.

The user must also be added as an Admin to the groups in the User Profile.

Things to Consider

  • Services and Service Options must be created on the group level to be accessible and applicable across individual properties within the portfolio.

  • To access a property group from ALICE Admin, select the logo icon, then toggle the property explorer to “Property Groups”. Use the dropdown to select a group.

  • To access a property group from a tab, select the logo icon, then toggle the property explorer to “Property Groups”. Use the dropdown to select a group.

  • Groups can exist within other groups.

Steps

  1. Access the Property Group, then select Portfolio Manager from the ALICE Admin menu.

  2. Select “Hotel Preview” to view the individual properties associated with the Property Group.

  3. Select the checkboxes to add the individual properties to the Portfolio Manager table.

  4. Use the “+” icon to expand the department Facilities and view the Services/Service Options nested within.

  5. Review the table to see how the Facilities, Services, and Service Options are applied to the individual properties within the Property Group.
    Green Check - Applied to all properties within the group.
    Blue Check - Applied to some properties within the group.
    Red X - Not applied to any properties in the group.

  6. Select “Edit” in line with the Service/Service Option to be added/removed from an individual property.

  7. Use the checkboxes to add/remove the Service/Service Option from the individual property, then select “Done” to apply the change.
