Add Guest Preferences for Housekeeping

Automatically initiate housekeeping tasks according to guest preferences set up in the Guests tab. For example, a guest would like to receive housekeeping services on Tuesdays throughout the duration of their long-term stay. This feature is most often utilized for properties with long-term reservations/guest stays.

User Type & Roles

To perform this action in ALICE, the user must have at least Employee User Type access.

The user must also have the following settings within “Roles” enabled”

  • Access to “Guests” tab.

  • Access to “Add”, “View”, “Edit” Guest Information.

Things to Consider

  • Guest preferences are added via the “Guests” tab. For properties with long term reservations/guest stays, this tab may be renamed “Residents”.


  1. Select the guest associated with the reservation.

  2. Select “Edit” to review reservation information.

  3. Locate the “Housekeeping” section. Select the guest preference from the dropdown.

  4. Select “Save” to update the reservation.
